This might be the pie crust recipe that changes everything. Oy, like I really need to be baking pie on a regular basis. <\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.flickr.com\/photos\/sheri219\/3000787947\/\" title=\"pumpkin pie by sheri219, on Flickr\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" src=\"http:\/\/farm4.static.flickr.com\/3237\/3000787947_379ab30eaa.jpg\" width=\"500\" height=\"375\" alt=\"pumpkin pie\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Easy Food Processor Pie Crust<br \/>\nmakes 2 crusts<br \/>\n2 1\/2 cups unbleached all purpose flour<br \/>\n1 1\/2 teaspoons sugar<br \/>\n3\/4  teaspoon salt<br \/>\n1\/2 cup chilled butter, cut into small cubes<br \/>\n1\/2 cup frozen solid vegetable shortening, cut into 1\/2-inch cubes<br \/>\n(I like <a href=\"http:\/\/www.spectrumorganics.com\/?id=87\">Spectrum Organic Shortening<\/a>)<br \/>\n6 tablespoons ice water<\/p>\n<p>Blend flour, sugar, and salt in processor. Add butter and shortening; and blend until mixture resembles coarse meal. Add 6 tablespoons ice water and continue to mix until dough begins to clump together, adding more water by teaspoonfuls if it&#8217;s too dry. Divide dough in half, flatten each half into a disk, and wrap each disk in plastic wrap.  Refrigerate at least 1 hour.<\/p>\n<p>On the edge of your seat?
