Everything is all used up, save one bunch of beets, thanks to a little bit of work this morning. <\/p>\n<p>Here&#8217;s what we got last Wednesday:<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.flickr.com\/photos\/sheri219\/2803761964\/\" title=\"2008 CSA Week 10 - Veg by sheri219, on Flickr\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" src=\"http:\/\/farm4.static.flickr.com\/3142\/2803761964_3c9cc21a84.jpg\" width=\"500\" height=\"375\" alt=\"2008 CSA Week 10 - Veg\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Slicing Tomatoes-3 pounds<br \/>\nSun Gold Cherry Tomatoes-1 basket<br \/>\nWalla Wall Onions-2<br \/>\nEarly Jersey Wakefield Cabbage-1 head<br \/>\nBlack Bell Eggplant-1<br \/>\nSummer Squash-2 pounds<br \/>\nEdamame-1 bunch<br \/>\nBright Lights Swiss Chard-1 bunch<br \/>\nBasil-1 bunch <\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.flickr.com\/photos\/sheri219\/2802915663\/\" title=\"2008 CSA Week 10 - Veg by sheri219, on Flickr\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" src=\"http:\/\/farm4.static.flickr.com\/3056\/2802915663_0a56e2aa33.jpg\" width=\"500\" height=\"375\" alt=\"2008 CSA Week 10 - Veg\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>edamame<\/p>\n<p>During the past week we&#8217;ve had toasts with chopped tomato, basil, and olive oil, pasta with swiss chard and pine nuts and Cherry tomato &#038; feta salad (from Barefoot Contessa at Home, also <a href=\"http:\/\/www.foodnetwork.com\/food\/recipes\/recipe\/0,,FOOD_9936_35240,00.html\" target=_blank>Food Network<\/a>). <\/p>\n<p>Of course we went to the farmers market this weekend, where I was compelled to buy six beautiful eggplant, a bunch of carrots, and some sweet corn.<\/p>\n<p>I used cabbage from the share along with some carrots from the market in a batch of Asian Slaw for a bbq at our neighbor&#8217;s house.<br \/>\nI made a couple of batches of eggplant caponata (Everyday Food, April) for the freezer with most of the eggplant. The two remaining eggplant were on my mind this morning, along with the entire two pounds of summer squash from last week. I&#8217;m just tired of summer squash.
